So I was a bit nervous to meet Joe Gage. He’s always been an idol of mine (ok… THAT is a gay icon, men… fuck that singing faghag drug addict train wreck shit…).
But I’m so careful to not look like a total fanboy. So I walk in very casually.
So I walk in and Joe looks at me and I just smile and say “Hi” and drop my backpack on my desk and say “I’m Jasun.” He looks at me and smiles and says “so I think that beard is just fine. Don’t think it needs to be trimmed at all.”
I was a bit confused by this but if Joe says the facial hair stays, it stays.
Then he looks at me a bit closer and says “Oh… wait, you’re that Jasun.” And when your idol refers to you as “that” anything, you’ll know the feeling I had.
Which is when he then told me he thought I was one of the stars of the scene we were about to shoot.

I am a big Joe Gage fan and your story inspired me to think why. Then it came to me, in a world where most porn is still caught up in trying to seduce straight men, in a Joe Gage porn universe everyone is gay and up for sex. The stories are about exploring fantasies of gay men, not pleading with straight men to get out of their clothes.
