I consider it no small feat that I managed to find a picture* of Jason Statham for this gallery where he’s smiling, because, let’s face it, dude doesn’t get much opportunity to smile in his movies.

Born in London, this 44 year old man of abs and steel has led an adventurous life, from Olympic diving (1992) to fashion model to stuntman to supporting actor to leading man. His big break was 1998′s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, that I would describe as a violently over the top black comedy.
But since then, he’s just about played the same role over and over again. And as good as he as at it, it’s all become a bit one dimensional for my tastes.
As far as his balding-but-ripped looking, I say “eh”, though I’m betting many of you (Jasun included) will find him incredibly sexy (based on my informal, non-scientific surveys of gay men over the years, that is). Me? I find him hot enough physically to be named HOTT. It’s the acting career that just seems dead stone cold.

My God this man is HOTT!!! I admit to never having seen one of his movies but i melt everytime i see him. If he ever does a nude scene I’m there. But what no diving pictures?
