OK, see, it’s great to see this finally out and see it being received it so well.
This scene was kind of sprung on me. I thought that Jake was going to direct it so I hadn’t made any preparations for it at all. I showed up to the Cruise Ranch a bit later than usual and settled into working in my office. When I found out I was on the schedule to direct a scene with Zeb Atlas… arguably one of the most important scenes of the year with zero preparation at all, I just about peed in my pants right there.
But both Zeb and Brady rose to the challenge with me. Don’t think it was easy for any of us. We shot this in the gym on the lot at the Cruise Ranch which is a small space. We can’t have air conditioning because of the audio so in the sweltering August sun, the temperatures rose to over 100 while we were shooting with little more than a fan placed far enough away as to not bleed into the audio track.
We did our best to stop and give the guys a rest but on a schedule… it had to get done.
Anthony Duran did second camera but I shot main camera which, in such a small space, made it even harder to do. We were VERY concerned that we’d get plenty of penetration shots. Brady’s bottoming skills are good but Zeb’s dick is huge and with such an important scene I wanted to make sure that there was NO doubt that the action was all real.
We also had some unexpected help; SG4GE model Matt Heritage was there waiting to be taken to the airport, so he hopped in and volunteered as crew for the shoot.
By the way, with the guys on the floor, I was able to get one of my signature “flying camera” shots in, starting with a close up of Zeb’s dick ramming into Brady’s hole in the missionary position, panning up over Zeb’s back, over his shoulder to show both of them and his dick from an “above” angle, panning over Brady’s body and up to a long-shot of them. I love being able to incorporate shots like that in my movies… it’s not always easy to get and it can be even harder to make it look good without interrupting the flow of the scene. So… yay.
