Hmmmm…Anticipation is good.
Previews are good.
BTS are informative.
But over a 4 – month wait period?
No studio in Hollywood advertises like that.
I think for paying members seeing previews or BTS that get’s us excited and want to see a performer in takes months to be released is asking too much. I notice many sites but production dates on their videos and they do not take 4 months to be released. Usually 2-3 weeks. They are not all released in order, some are held back. But they don’t post preview pics months in advance. Especially, when the models tend to go and work for other studios and you can see them on the other site.
Posting previews a week in advance like Dirty Tony is one thing. You have the anticipation and desire to see it and continue to remain a member. 4 Months? Doesn’t work well with many people.
I mean.. Hollywood studios DO advertise like that. the next Harry Potter movie doesn’t come out until next Thanksgiving but we’ve already seen the first trailer.
I’ve never worked for or known a porn studio that worked on a 2-3 week turn around.
There does have to be a balance but that being said, my blog isn’t about promoting the site or posting previews, it’s about “My life making porn.” My blog is a repository of my favorite porn scenes, funny videos and advice columns but it’s ALSO a blog about my daily life as a porn maker and that includes shooting scenes months in advance and preparing them for release.
But I do thank you for your input… I want to hear from everyone.

There are plenty of other sites out there that link to “available now” scenes. Your USP is that you give us the behind-the-scenes glimpses and humanise the whole deal. It’s kinda fascinating to see the way you live your life. Keep it up. The guy who criticised you must be a nightmare for impatience.

It doesnt really matter actually… The sneak peaks and previews actually leave you anticipating something in the future. Its good that you do that, that way we are wanting to see it when it comes out in full release.
Keep doing what you are doing. It the same reason Hollywood releases movie trailers and teaser clips, and critics’ reviews long before the movies are actually released.
Think about it.. would the public actually go see a movie they have no previous knowledge of? So studious do it for marketing purposes and so do you. You wouldn’t be in business if previews didn’t exist.
We all got interested in our favorite movies and going to the theatre because of what ??? PREVIEWS!!!!

(1) love the GDH, and I do indeed visit daily.
(2) Keep up previews…yes, it may be months before the actual scene is released but I personally love the behind the scenes stuff. Besides, advanced promotion is a good thing.
(3) I agree with Drew…I really do enjoy some of your more “personal” clips. You might do your best work behind the camera, but there is a place for you in front of it…and preferably with less clothes ;-)
i like the behind the scene stuff because i like seeing how the movie if being made. I like how you get to see them prepping for being fuck and stuff like that. Keep up the good work Jasun. I come here everyday for my fix of gaydailyhot!! haha
as many of the “behind the scenes” vids as you can make. Find them much more erotic than the finished product.
I like the sneak peaks/previews. You are often very energized after doing them and that shows in your writing about them. It’s a great teaser.
From a marketing point of view, just may want to put a blurb out as soon as the video becomes available, or have a ‘coming soon’ (or cumming soon) tab to see what will become available and when.
