So someone asked me “when did you know for sure that you were gay?”
Which.. fair question.
We all grow up realizing at different times that it’s the guys that are getting our attention and not the… well.. it’s the guys. We check the guys out at in gym class, we start to stare at our buddy’s crotches… that kind of thing. But there’s always that “yup.. I’m gay” moment we all eventually have.
Well, mine came in 1982 when I was about 13. I was always a fan of rock ‘n’ roll so I like any good Canadian rock fan, I picked up Loverboy’s second album “Get Lucky.” I took it home, put it on, dropped the needle and then took a closer look at the cover. Featuring the tight, grabbable ass of lead singer Mike Reno, it also had a very hairy arm and red leather.
